DC vs MI, IPL Final LIVE: Defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) emerged as the Indian Premier League (IPL) champions for a record extending fifth time after beating first-time finalists Delhi Capitals by five wickets in the IPL 2020 finals which just got over at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai (UAE). Mumbai Indians chased down a competitive 157-run target set by Delhi Capitals with relative ease to win the IPL 2020 finals and pocket their fifth title in the marquee Indian T20 league.
MI's title winning victory in the finals came on the back of a fiery half ton by their skipper Rohit Sharma (51-ball 68) and quick-fire knocks by opener Quinton De Kock (20) and top order batsman Ishan Kishan.
Mumbai Indians also became only the second team after Chennai Super Kings to defend their IPL title. They had beaten Chennai Super Kings to win their fourth IPL title in the 2019 edition of the tournament last year. The Rohit Sharma-led side had earlier won the IPL title in 2013, 2015 and 2017.
Mumbai Indians secured a berth in their sixth IPL final after beating Delhi Capitals by 57 runs in the IPL 2020 Play-off Qualifier 1.
