IPL 2019 RCCvsMI: Unchanged RCB opt to bowl; Bumrah, Malinga both playing for MI

Both Jasprit Bumrah and Lasith Malinga are playing for Mumbai Indians whereas hosts RCB have gone in with an unchanged side.

Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bowl first against Mumbai Indians at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Thursday. The biggest update from the toss was the availability of Jasprit Bumrah, who had suffered a shoulder injury in MI's last match against Delhi Capitals. Apart from Bumrah, Mumbai have got another boost in the form of Lasith Malinga, who was finally allowed by Sri Lanka Cricket Board after BCCI decided to intervene in the matter. Malinga was supposed to miss the first six matches of IPL as SLC had made it mandatory for its players to play in the domestic one-dayers ahead of the World Cup. The hosts, RCB, on the other hand, have gone in with an unchanged side, which faced a humiliating defeat against Chennai Super Kings after being bowled out for 71 in the opening match of IPL 2019.

Mumbai Indians (Playing XI): Rohit Sharma(c), Quinton de Kock(w), Suryakumar Yadav, Yuvraj Singh, Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Mitchell McClenaghan, Lasith Malinga, Mayank Markande, Jasprit Bumrah
