IPL 2017: Ajinkya Rahane to lead RPS in Smith's absence

New Delhi: Rising Pune Supergiant have won the toss and elected to field first against Delhi Daredevils in the game number 9 of the Indian Premier League at Pune. 


Rising Pune Supergaint skipper Steve Smith has been left out due to illness. Ajinkya Rahane will lead the team in Smith’s absence. Another RPS star batsman Manoj Tiwary misses out as he lost his father on Tuesday morning 


The Pune based franchise so far has played 2 games and stand fifth on the table with 1 win and 1 lose. While, Delhi Daredevils have lost their only encounter against Royal Challengers Bangalore and will be hunting for victory against the Ajinkya Rahane lead team.


One change for the Delhi Daredevils with Carlos Braithwaite making way for New Zealander Corey Anderson.
