Imam Ul Haq and Azhar Ali collided with each other in Pakistan's second warm-up match against Northamptonshire.
Imam-ul-Haq and Azhar Ali collided with each other in Pakistan's second warm-up match against Northamptonshire.
The incident occurred in the fourth over of the second innings. Imam Ul Haq hit the ball very near to the fielder and while running was not that careful and as a result collided with fellow opening batsman Azhar Ali. Ali was run-out because of the collision as Northampts fielder Ricardo Vasconcelos was quick to knock down the stumps.

The run out sparked hilarious responses in social media, more because of Imam, who is the nephew of Pakistan cricketing legend Inzamam-ul-Haq.
Now surely.... Talent is in the blood https://t.co/Iq2qpSWK0T

Imam-ul-haq is the nephew of inzamam ul haq. Like uncle, like nephew. Bad running between the wickets runs in the family. Imam is the batsman who gets azhar run out here. https://t.co/6MAwgPsOMR

Inzamam has had a history with run outs throughout his career. The former Pakistan captain is the player who has been runout the most number of times in the ODIs sharing the spot with fellow Pakistani Wasim Akram and it looks like Imam Ul Haq is to follow the order.
Barring the run out, Pakistan had a fairly good outing, thumping their opponents with by 9 wickets. They were chasing a modest total of 134 as fifties from Imam Ul Haq and Harris Sohail made sure that Pakistan dominate the match.
Pakistan next face Ireland side on May 11th and then will return to England to play 2 more tests.
