Indian cricket team's all-format captain Rohit Sharma, regarded as one the greatest batters of all time in limited overs cricket, attained many milestones and created many memorable moments during his cricketing career that has lasted for over 16 years now. The senior India opener has won the most IPL trophies (five) with Mumbai Indians as their captain. He is the only player in history of One-Day-International cricket to score three double centuries. The 26-year-old made his India debut on June 23, 2007 in IND vs IRE ODI match in Belfast. Rohit has scored close to 10,000 runs in his career till date, making him the fifth-leading run-scorer of India in international cricket. He has so far scored 3677 runs in 52 Tests, 3853 runs in 148 T20Is and 9,837 runs in 244 ODIs.

The right-hand batter picked India's win in the ICC T20 World Cup in 2007, his ton (177) against West Indies on his Test debut in Kolkata, India's historic win over Australia at the Gabba in January 2021, his 123-run stand with legend Sachin Tendulkar in the final of the Commonwealth bank tri-series (CB series) against Australia in 2008. While Sachin played a match-defining unbeaten knock of 117, Rohit scored 66 off 87 balls.
