As per the weather forecast by AccuWeather for September 2, it anticipates that the venue will get covered with a thick cloud and there is a 94% probability of a downpour. It also predicts a 99% chance of rain in the second half of the day, right around the time when the India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 match is scheduled for.
If the game between India and Pakistan is called off due to rain and the Men in Blue beat Nepal in the group stage clash then both India and Pakistan will reach the Super Fours stage. But then if Nepal upsets India then the Men in Green and Nepal will enter the Super Fours. But knowing the fact that Nepal is playing for the first time in the Asia Cup, their chance of qualification looks bleak. In the first game against Pakistan, Nepal suffered a heavy loss of 238 runs.
