Ind vs Aus: Thakur, Natrajan And Bumrah Helps India Defend Their Score, Lead Them To Victory In Final ODI

Debutant T Natarajan got an early breakthrough for his team by cleaning up interim Australia opener Marnus Labuschagne just for 7 to attain his maiden international wicket before Shardul Thakur departed heavyweight Steven Smith for 15-ball 7, after the powerplay.

Shardul and Jadeja put India in the driver's seat with former getting 2 wickets - Steve Smith and Moises Henriques - while the all-rounder departing well-set Aussie skipper Aaron Finch for 75. Australia needed 76 off the final 10 overs t0 make it 3-0 and 'Big Show' Glenn Maxwell was their only hope. The star all-rounder smashed his second fifty of the series. Just when it seemed that he might guide his team to a win, death-over specialist Jasprit Bumrah got him clean bowled for 38-ball 59 with a perfect yorker.

Ind vs Aus: Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya Propel India To 302/5 At Canberra 

After Virat Kohli's (78-ball 63) dismissal, all-rounders Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja stabled the Indian innings by bringing up India's 3rd-highest partnership for sixth wicket in ODI format. Both of them took the charge strongly and fought fiercely against the Australian bowlers. At one time it seemed that the Indian team would not reach the 300-run mark, but Pandya and Jadeja made it possible. Both stitched a brilliant unbeaten partnership of 150 runs in 108 balls for the sixth wicket to propel India beyond 300.

While Pandya scored an unbeaten 92 off 76 balls with 7 fours and 1 six, Jadeja scored an unbeaten 66 in 50 balls thanks to 5 fours and 3 sixes. This was 13th fifty of Jadeja's ODI career.
