IND Vs WI, 5th T20 Highlights: King's Masterclass Helps West Indies Beat India By 8 Wickets

West Indies outplayed the Indian team by 8 wickets in the fifth and final T20I series at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium in Lauderhill. It was Brendon King who played an outstanding knock of 85 runs in just 55 balls, helping his side win the first bilateral series since 2016. Even after Rain played spoilsport in the game a couple of times, King did not lose his concentration and made batting look like a cakewalk on the slow and tricky surface in Lauderhill.

Pooran was then departed for 47(35) by Tilak Varma, which was also his maiden international wicket. West Indies sealed the series 3-2 after crushing the Men in Blue by eight wickets.

Earlier, the Indian batters struggled on a slow wicket and ended up making 165/9 against the West Indies in the fifth and final T20 International at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium. Suryakumar Yadav was the only one who starred with the bat as he scored his second half-century of the series, helping India post a decent total. The Mumbai-based bater ended up making 61 runs in just 45 balls with the help of four fours and three sixes.

For West Indies left-arm spinner Akeal Hosein took 2 wickets after giving away 24 runs in 4 overs while off-spinner Roston Chase ended the game with the figures of 1/25 in 4 overs. The Indian openers also got failed as Yashasvi Jaiswal (5) and Shubman Gill (9) were dismissed early in the innings. Tilak Varma played a useful hand of 27 off 18 balls in the middle but then could not convert it into a big one.

For the Indian team, Arshdeep Singh and Tilak Varma took a wicket each.
