The Indian seam trio of Mohammad Shami, Ishant Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah collectively were in blazing hot form with the red cherry, scalping all 10 wickets in Windies second innings . Bumrah led the charge with a brilliant 5-wicket haul. The Antigua Test also saw Indian fast bowlers take 18 out of the total 20 wickets. This too was the best bowling performance by any team from the sub-continent in the Caribbean. The Sunday’s win against West Indies was the 27th victory for Virat Kohli as captain. He’s now equalled Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who too led India in 27 Test wins. Ishant Sharma took eight wickets in the match while Bumrah and Shami collected six and four wickets respectively. The only two wickets going to a spinner was taken by Ravindra Jadeja. Raecting to India’s win, Kohli said, “Even last time we played here, the result was very good for us. Jinks was very good in both the innings. It was more of a grind. We had to come back into the game three or four times. Managing player workloads is very important for us. He (Bumrah) will be a ley player for us as far as the Test championship is concerned. Those three are bowling well as a group.”
