New Delhi: The second match of the Test series between India and South Africa (Ind vs SA) is being played in Johannesburg. India were bowled out for 202 in their first innings after winning the toss and batting first. Skipper KL Rahul scored a half-century.

Team India suffered a major setback after being dismissed for a low score in the first innings when pacer Mohammad Siraj walked off the field due to a hamstring strain.

Siraj suffered an injury when he was bowling his fourth over. He ran to bowl the last ball of the over, but could not complete it due to a hamstring strain. Seeing Siraj's injury, the physio rushed to the field and was seen taking the Indian bowler out of the field.

Shardul Thakur bowled one of the remaining balls of Siraj's over. After the day's play, Ashwin said that the severity of the injury is yet to be ascertained and the medical staff will monitor him overnight.

I asked before I left if I could talk about it, Ashwin said. Given Siraj's history, I am hoping that he will be fine and that he has the strength to give his best on the field.

Defending 202 runs in the match, the bowlers gave the Indian team a good start. Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammad Siraj tested the South African batsmen with fast pace and hard lines.

Shami gave India the only breakthrough of the day when he dismissed Aiden Markram. Siraj may not have got a wicket but his bowling was lethal. South Africa had scored 35 runs for the loss of 1 wicket till the stumps.
