IND vs AUS U19 WC Final HIGHLIGHTS: Australia Beat India By 79 Runs To Become Under-19 World Champions
IND vs AUS U19 World Cup Final HIGHLIGHTS: Australia Outplayed India to emerge as the champions.
Australia win by 79 runs as Saumy Pandey is out caught to the keeper. They are the under 19 World champions. Another heartbreak for India against Australia in an ICC final.
India 9 Down with Murugan Abhishek falling to Vidler. Only a matter of time before Australia celebrate yet another ICC trophy win after beating India in the final. INDU19: 168/9 after 40.3 Overs. Surely a disappointing result for Indian fans.
India 8 Down. Surely, another heartbreak loading for India in another 50 overs final against Australia after playing so well throughout the course of the tournament. Last recognised batter Adarsh fell to Beardman before Limbani succumbed to MacMillan's yorker. INDU19s staring at a defeat. They are 122/8 after 31.5 Overs.
Surely Australia's game to lose from here on as they have picked 2 more wickets in a span of 5 deliveries. First Priyanshu Moliya who fails to connect a pull neatly and is out caught off Anderson before wicketkeeper Aravelly Avanish who goes for 0 off 2 caught and bowled MacMillan. INDU19- 91/6 after 25.3 Overs.
Priyanshu Moliya joins Adarsh Singh in the middle. Australia all over India as of now. Is this yet another ICC trophy slipping away from India?
It's getting bad to worse for India now as Sachin Dhas falls first ball from Raf MacMillan. Nicked to the keeper. Dhas falls for 9 off 8. India U19s: 68/4 after 19.1 Overs.
India have lost their captain Uday Saharan. Is that the game then for Australia? It's slashed off Beardman but it's gone straight to Weibgen who makes no mistake in taking that catch and getting rid of the Indian skipper. INDU19- 55/3 after 16.5 Overs.
Some contest this has been so far. Exciting finish seems likely on the cards.
Captain Uday Saharan takes centre stage in what could be a decisive passage of play in this match.
WICKET!! And just when it seemed India had done well to survive the difficult period, Musheer Khan falls. Mahli Beardman gets a wicket first over. The ball does not bounce as much as Musheer thought it would and it's an underedge onto the stumps. INDU19- 40/2 after 12.2 Overs.
Slow Start for India but they seemed to have survived the difficult period. INDU19- 28/1 after 10 overs.
Musheer Khan comes in at 3 for India.
Not the best of starts by team India. They have lost Arshin Kulkarni early, needing 254 to win. It's a full delivery, perfect outswinger from Kulkarni which has produced the edge and an easy job for the wicketkeeper. INDU19 -3/1 after 2.2 Overs.
Out come the Indian openers Arshin Kulkarni, Adarsh Singh. Callum Vidler begins with a maiden over for Australia. Charlie Anderson from the other end.
Game on then here in Benoni as Australia U19s manage to reach a competitive 253/7. Despite losing wickets in clusters, it's Oliver Peake's knock (46 off 53) that has helped them get to the eventual total. Harjas Singh top-scored with 55 off 64, captain Hugh Weibgen made 48 off 66 while opener Harry Dixon scored 42 off 56. For India, Raj Limbani produced 3 for 38 and Naman Tiwari picked 2 wickets for 63 runs off his 9 overs. A solitary wicket went to Saumy Pandey's tally. When India come out to bat, they have a job at their hands.
Third wicket in the match for Limbani as Anderson departs for 13 off 18. AUSU19- 221/7 after 45.3 Overs.
Charlie Anderson has joined Oliver Peake in the middle. We are into the final 10 overs and surely Australia would want to get past the 250-run mark.
WICKET!! It's caught and bowled Musheer Khan. This one has gripped and turned and this one has been hit straight to the bowler. Raf MacMillan falls for 2 off 8. AUSU19-187/6 after 39.5 Overs.
Saumy Pandey removes the half-centurion Harjas Singh who misses the sweep against him and Australia are now 5 down. 181/5 after 37.5 overs.First wicket that has fallen to spin today.
Oliver Peake New Man in for Australia U19s.
And what a moment to pick a wicket for India. It's Limbani this time who has broken the partnership. It came back in after landing, beat Hicks' inside edge to thrash onto his pads. He is caught in front of the stumps and the ball would have gone on to hit the stumps. AUSU19- 165/4 after 34.1 Overs.
Harjas and Hicks have put on a stand worth over 50 already. Much needed for Australia U19s who are 165/3 after 34 overs.
Harjas Singh, Ryan Hicks Out In The Middle for Australia U19s after those two wickets in quick succession.
Superb for India and Tiwari. He was taken to the cleaners in his first spell but what a comeback this is from the bowler. He has removed both set batters of Australia. First Weibgen and then in his very next over. It's a slower one and the batter gets deceived and offers a simple catch in the cover region after getting early into the shot. India on top then as Australia U19s lose their third at 99 in 22.5 overs. Dixon departs for 42.
Hugh Weibgen falls short of a half-century and it's Naman Tiwari who has come back to break the partnership. Full outside off and the batter goes for a drive but manages an edge which flies to backward point where Musheer Khan takes the catch. AUSU19- 94/2 after 20.4 Overs. Much needed wicket for India.
Since a wicket in the third over, India haven't found a breakthrough. Partnership between Weibgen and Dixon looking promising. India's leading wicket-taker in the tournament Saumy Pandey comes into the attack. He bowls the 15th over which goes for 4 runs. AUS19- 63/1 after 15 overs.
It's Abhishek Murugan and Musheer Khan who are now operating from the two ends for now as Australia U19 have built a bit of a partnership. AUSU19- 45/1 after the first 10 overs. Steady start this. Game in the balance.
Hugh Weibgen In At 3 for Australia.
And it's an early wicket for India. Limbani strikes in his second. It's an inswinger from the bowler which has got the better of Konstas who departs for 0 off 8 balls. INDU19 off to a fine start. AUSU19- 16/1 after 2.3 Overs.
Harry Dixon, Sam Konstas begin Australia's innings. Raj Limbani, Naman Tiwari with the new ball for India.
Australia: Harry Dixon, Sam Konstas, Hugh Weibgen (capatin), Harjas Singh, Ryan Hicks (wicketkeeper ), Oliver Peake, Charlie Anderson, Raf MacMillan, Tom Straker, Mahli Beardman, Callum Vidler

Hello And Welcome to our live coverage of the IND vs AUS U19 World Cup final. What a contest this promises to be as two unbeaten sides reach the summit clash. Whatsmore it's a 50 overs final, almost three months after the ODI World Cup final between the senior men's teams of both these countries. Will it be revenge completed for a cricket crazy India or will it be Australia who will have the last laugh yet again? Let's find out together.
Background
IND vs AUS U19 World Cup Final LIVE Score: It's yet another 50 Overs World Cup final between India and Australia. While the two teams squared off in the ODI World Cup final in November last year, almost three months later their junior sides are in the finals of the Under 19 Men's Cricket World Cup final. If there is anything that this shows, it is the dominance of these two sides in world cricket across and a proper domestic and youth development structure in place in both these countries.
Almost inevitably then, some of these players will go on to become the superstars of tomorrow and compete in the Men's ODI World Cup among other major cricket competitions. India have had an unbeaten run up until the summit clash, much like the ODI World Cup last year and had a major scare in the semifinals, like they had in that tournament. They are up against an Australian side who are also unbeaten in the tournament, however, one of their fixture had been washed out. Much like the India U-19 side, they too faced a scare in the semis but ultimately came out on top.
Players To Watch Out For:
Uday Saharan and Musheer Khan the two of the leading run-scorers of the tournament are both in the Indian camp and the team would need at least one or both of them to come good in a high-pressure summit clash. For Australia, Harry Dixon has done the bulk of the team's scoring while Hugh Weibgen has been in great form too.
With the bowl, left-arm spinner Saumy Pandey has been the highest wicket-taker for India with 17 scalps to his credit while Tom Straker of Australia has been their most successful bowler with 12 wickets.
