Hello and welcome to the live coverage of the final day of the 2^nd India vs Australia Test at Optus Stadium in Perth. India’s condition is extremely critical as they require 175 runs to win the match with 5 wickets in hand. After restricting the Aussies pretty early than expected, the Indian batting witnessed yet another terrible collapse while chasing a 287-run target. Especially the top order which was back in the dressing room before amassing 100 runs on the board.

The rough patch of the opener haunted the visitors again as KL Rahul walked back to the pavilion for a duck after a stunner from Aussie star seamer Starc hit his bat and deflected back onto the stumps. Vijay showed some hope but could only add 20 runs against his name.

Besides the openers, the dismissals of Pujara (4), Kohli (17) and Rahane (30) were some serious jolts to the hosts on a penultimate day.
