Bengaluru: Another dominating session by the Australian side as they only allowed India to score 96 runs in the second session on day 1. India managed to reach 167/5 at tea.

Lyon clinched 3 wickets which included Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane. KL Rahul and Karun Nair looked good in the middle before Steve O’keefe had different plans altogether as he outwitted Nair on 26.

KL Rahul continued his fight in the middle as he managed to score 79 runs. R Ashwin Joined him at the other end when the team went in for tea.
