ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024: The ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 is all set to kickoff on October 3 (Thursday). The Indian women's cricket team has never won the tournament before but with the men's team ending their world title drought earlier this year, Harmanpreet Kaur & Co. would also want to get the title which has eluded them with their best performance coming in the 2020 edition of the competition where they finished as the runners-up, losing to Australia in the final.
The tournament was originally scheduled to be held in Bangladesh but because of the violence that erupted due to the political turmoil in the country, the tournament was shifted to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with matches slated acorss Sharjah and Dubai.
