New Delhi: Indian Cricket team captain Virat Kohli and wicketkeeper-batsman KL Rahul, in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 rankings moved up a place each, after the conclusion of three-match T20I series against Australia, in which India won by 2-1.

Following the outstanding performance in the T20 tournament against Australia, Rahul entered the top three of the ICC T20I rankings for batsmen, while skipper Virat Kohli has also moved up by a spot on number eight.

KL Rahul, displaced Australia limited-overs skipper Aaron Finch at the number three spot after he scored a fifty in the first T20I at the Manuka Oval in Canberra. In the next two matches against the Aussies, Rahul returned with scores of 30 and 0.

Indian captain Kohli, gained one spot on the list after he scored a brilliant 85 runs in the finals of the three-tournament T20 match. However, Australia won the match by 12 runs. Following the series, Kohli now stands at the eighth spot on the list.

England's Dawid Malan continues to be at the number one spot after the three-match T20I series in which he scored 173 runs against South Africa. Eoin Morgan-led England’s cricket team won the series by 3-0. Malan topped the ICC’s ranking list in September, earlier this year, in which he overtook Pakistan's Babar Azam, with a 44-point lead.

Meanwhile in the bowlers’ list, Australia leg-spinner Adam Zampa jumped two places to enter the top 5. Zampa is currently at No.4. England’s Chris Jordan also broke into the top 10, while leg-spinner Adil Rashid gained a spot to jump to the third spot behind Afghanistan spin duo Rashid Khan and Mujeeb-Ur-Rahman.

However, there are no Indian players in the ICC T20 top 10 bowler list.

In the all-rounders' list, Mohammad Nabi is at the numero uno spot and is followed by Shakib-al-Hasan and Glenn Maxwell.

The three-tournament T20 series took off just after the conclusion of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Hardik Pandya was named man of the series.
