Wicket-keeper batsman Alex Carey has been named as the skipper of the Australia 'A' team for the final 3-day warm-up game against India at the SCG ahead of the high voltage 4-match Test series.
The second warm up game to be played from Dec 11-13 at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) will be played with the pink ball to serve as an ideal practice match ahead of the opening Test at Adelaide Oval.
Carey will don the captaincy hat for Australia A instead of Travis Head who led the team in the first warm up match that ended in a draw at the Drummoyne Oval in Sydney.
