New Delhi: The Mumbai Indians think tank must have got their hearts in their mouth when Hardik Pandya suffered a nasty fall on his follow through during the IPL match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Mumbai.

On first look, it seemed horrible. Pandya ran in on full throttle but slipped just when he was about to deliver the ball. He immediately grabbed his knee grimacing with pain as his teammates ran in to have a look.

To the delight of the Mumbai Indians players Pandya got up with a smile within seconds and walked back to his run up to bowl the next delivery.

The Indian all-rounder had a lucky escape as on any given day he could have easily gone back with a knee or a hamstring injury.

Mumbai Indians won the match by 4 wickets thanks to some gutsy batting Nitish Rana (45) and Krunal Panday (37).
