Hardik Pandya provides a lot of balance to the team: Virat Kohli
Hardik Pandya’s return in the squad has put a smile on Virat Kohli's face. At the post-match press conference, the Indian skipper said, "Hardik improves the balance of the team. He was very good today."

Half-centuries from Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli set a solid platform before Ambati Rayudu and Dinesh Karthik finish off the pursuit of 244 with 42 balls remaining to win by 7 wickets. For Kiwis, veteran Ross Taylor top-scored for the hosts with a 106-ball 93, while Latham hit a 64-ball 51. The fourth match will be played on Thursday in Hamilton.
While Virat-led Indian team took an unassailable 3-0 series lead, star all-rounder Hardik Pandya (2/45 in 10 overs) made his presence felt with the ball as well as on the field. The Baroda all-rounder was playing his first match after the suspension on him for sexist remarks on a TV show was lifted.
Pandya’s return in the squad has put a smile on Virat Kohli's face. At the post-match press conference, the Indian skipper said, "Hardik improves the balance of the team. He was very good today."
“Good to have him back. He put his head down and focused on what he needed to do, you can tell from the way he bowled. He is someone who will make important contribution over all.” he added.

The Indian skipper also praised the young talent Shubhman Gill, who earned a maiden call-up for the ongoing ODI series against New Zealand.
Gill is expected to play once Kohli goes on his break from the fourth ODI.
“Some day someone has to take your place and that’s how it goes. Shubman is a very exciting talent and I saw him bat in the nets and I was like wow I was not even ten percent of that when I was 19,” Kohli said.
