Mumbai: Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, the star of Indian cricket his celebrating his 48th birthday on 24 April 2021. Unlike every year, he is not celebrating this birthday due to the pandemic restrictions in place. Recently, Sachin Tendulkar was tested Covid-19 positive. He had to stay quarantined for 21 days. Sachin informed his fans about his health in a video and urged them to donate plasma if they have recovered from Covid-19.

Sachin Tendulkar also released a video on his birthday. In the video, Sachin said that he is thankful to all the doctors and medical staff who helped him recover from Covid-19. Sachin informed that he spent 21 days in quarantine while recovering from Covid-19. He said, “All your birthday wishes have made my day. Last few days have been tough for me, I had to be isolated for 21 days.


“All the doctors and the medical staff kept me in a positive frame of mind and helped me recover. A big thank you to all of you.”


While talking about the current situation of Covid-19 in the country, he said “I want to give you all a message which is passed on by the doctors. If plasma is given at the right time, patients can recover faster. I am also going to donate my plasma whenever permissible.


“You all talk to your doctors and those who have recovered from Covid-19, do donate your blood.”
