Rishabh Pant Likely To Be Airlifted To Delhi For Plastic Surgery, Says DDCA Director Shyam Sharma

New Delhi: Indian cricket player Rishabh Pant met with an accident on Friday. His car met with an accident on the Narsan border of Roorkee near Hammadpur Jhal. The accident took place as Pant fell asleep while driving.
On Saturday, the director of Delhi & District Cricket Association, Shyam Sharma spoke to ANI and stated, “A team of Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) is going to Max Hospital Dehradun to monitor his health, if required we'll shift him to Delhi & chances are high that we'll airlift him to Delhi for plastic surgery”.

The car caught fire after the accident. He has been admitted to Max Hospital in Dehradun. He was given treatment at Roorkee Civil Hospital. Pant's condition is normal at the moment.
Earlier, the Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has, meanwhile, assured that all healthcare facilities will be taken care of the state's brand ambassador. Notably, CM Dhami had announced in August Pant as Uttarakhand's official brand ambassador.

"Cricketer Rishabh Pant met with an accident near Roorkee today. He is being taken to Dehradun for further treatment. All the healthcare facilities will be taken care of. We pray for his speedy recovery," Pant was quoted as saying by News Agency ANI.
A detailed medical bulletin of Pant is awaited but Dr. Ashish Yagnik from Max Hospital, Dehradun has confirmed that Pant's condition is stable.
"Cricketer Rishabh Pant is under the observation of Orthopedics & plastic surgeons. His condition is stable. His detailed medical bulletin will be released once he's examined. Thereafter, we'll take the next steps," ANI UP/Uttarakhand quoted him as saying.
