Australia have asserted their dominance in the ICC Test rankings by dethroning India at the top, and many more changes took place in all the formats. Here are the details.
ICC Team Rankings: Australia have announced their arrival at the summit of ICC Test Rankings as the reigning World Test champions have dethroned India at the top in the latest ICC Team Rankings for all the formats. Ausralia, who last played a Test international against New Zealand, won the Test series 2-0 against Kiwis and the Trans-Tasman rivalry saw a clean sweep for Australia and whitewash of New Zealand in the T20I series as well, as the Aussies came out 3-0 winners in the three-match series.

However, inspite of their best of efforts in the white-ball cricket, the reigning ODI World Champions are still short on ratings against India, as the 'Men in Blue' are still the main side in the white-ball cricket, with them at the summit of ICC ODI and T20I Rankings. India and Australia have been dominating sides across all formats and have asserted their immense domination over the world of cricket, as both the sides are in a closely-contested battle for the battle of supremancy in ICC Team Rankings (with them at Position 1 and 2 across all formats).
The upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 will have a major say in the ICC T20I Rankings for the sides and can see a majority of changes based upon the results.
