INDW Vs AUSW: India women defeated Australia women by 2 wickets in the 3rd ODI of a three-match series. With this win, India ended Australia's 26-match unbeaten streak in ODI cricket. This win would pump the confidence of the Indian team before going into a 3-match T20I series against the Aussies.

India chased down a total of 265 runs. This is the highest-ever ODI total successfully chased by the Indian women's team. India won the match in the last over when Jhulan Goswami hit a boundary off Molineux's delivery.

The Indian team's celebration after the match was a testimony of how much it means to the team. India could have also won the second ODI, but a controversial no-ball call on the last ball of the match made things complicated and India eventually lost the 2nd ODI. But on Sunday, the Indian girls were more determined to win despite losing Smriti Mandhana pretty early in the innings. "The last game gave us confidence going into today's encounter," said India's captain Mithali Raj.

After winning the toss, Lanning, the Aussie captain decided to bat first. Australia posted a total of 264 in the first innings owing to a couple of half-centuries from Mooney and Gardner. Jhulan Goswami picked three wickets and was India's best bet in bowling.

Yastika Bhatia's 64 runs in 69 balls were the main difference-maker between the two sides. The lower-order also pitched in with some valuable runs after India lost a few quick wickets in the middle order. Number 7 and 8 batters, Deepti Sharma and Sneh Rana scored a couple of quick 30s.

The winning runs were hit by Jhulan Goswami who was also awarded the man of the match.

Australia and India will play a 3-match T20I series and also a one-off Day & Night Test match which will be played with a pink ball.
