AUS vs PAK 2nd Test: Smith century before storm hits Pakistan Test
New Delhi: Australia Skipper Steve Smith smashed his 17th Test century on Thursday before storm intervened play on day four of the second Test against Pakistan in Melbourne.
Steve Smith’s clinched fourth Test hundred of the year to guide Australia to 22-run lead over the tourists when the tea was called on day four.
Australia reached 465 for six with Steve Smith unbeaten on 100 and Mitchell Starc on other end with seven not out.
Usman Khwaja missed out on another ton when he was dismissed on 97 for the second time this season. The opener faced 12 balls to score two runs before leaving the field with his head bowed.
