Amir loses cool, screams at teammate for missing catch in NatWest T20 Blast encounter

New Delhi: Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir, who is currently playing for Essex in the NatWest T20 Blast, went furious on team-mate Paul Walter for misjudging an easy chance during their encounter against Sussex.

The incident took place in the 5th over when Amir delivered full length ball to Chris Nash as he whipped it high in the air towards Paul Walter, who was stationed at the deep square leg but lost the contact with the ball and also, eventually losing a wicket taking opportunity.

Infuriated at his teammate, Amir banged the pitch with his hand and gestured the fielder to wear his sunglasses, which he had sitting pretty on his cap.

Banking on the opportunity, Nash smashed 73 off 55 deliveries, eventually losing his wicket to Amir in the penultimate over but the damage was already done as Sussex reached 172/4 in 20 overs.

Essex were bowled out for 117 runs, losing the battle by 55 runs.
