While it appeared to be a historic feat as Greater Noida was all set to become the 30th Test venue in India, hosting the Afghanistan vs New Zealand one-off Test match. However, instead of celebrating the record-breaking feats that it has managed to achieve by virtue of being the host, it has come under harsh criticism because of its lack of facilities.
And now a shocking piece of visual is doing the rounds on the internet from the AFG vs NZ one-off Test match. The catering staff of the Grater Noida Sports Complex Stadium can be seen using urinal washroom water for washing utensils. The pictures have surfaced on social media.

This comes after the venue was already facing a backlash for not being able to get the match up and running despite not a single drop of rain so far at the venue in the first two days. Such was the condition of the venue that the Afghanistan team did not even bother to reach the ground till late in the afternoon on the second day of the Test.

"This is a huge mess, we are never coming back here. The players are also unhappy with the facilities here.We had spoken with the concerned people well in advance and were assured by the stadium guys that everything will be in order," an official of the Afghanistan Crikcet Board (ACB) told PTI.
