Huge crowds have lined the streets of Tokyo to pay their last respects to ex-Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe, who was assassinated last week. The 67-year-old was shot dead on Friday while speaking at a campaign event in the southern city of Nara. On Tuesday, a hearse carried the body of the country's longest-serving prime minister through the capital to the funeral hall where he was cremated.

The United States rejected Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s recent request for a visa. Mr. Gotabaya, formerly a dual citizen of Sri Lanka and the U.S., gave up his American citizenship ahead of the 2019 elections because of a law that barred foreign nationals from running for the presidency. After the minor technical issue was resolved, first aircraft flew back to India as a commercial flight." "Flight delays can happen with any airline.
