The Indian Air Force (IAF) is celebrating its 86th anniversary on October 8, Monday. The day commemorates the official foundation day of the force. The Defence Ministry said the day is to highlight the "untiring efforts and supreme sacrifices" made by its personnel. To mark the occasion, the IAF has organised a grand parade-cum-Investiture Ceremony at Ghaziabad's Hindon Air Force Station.
