IN PICS: Four injured following cloudburst in Uttarakhand's Chamoli

The road to Badrinath Dham also got damaged following the torrential rains.

As of now, the rains have ceased in Chamoli, but the weather department had issued alert of heavy rains that can continue daylong in Garhwal region’s Dehradun, Paudi and Haridwar.

The cloudburst took place 35 kms away from Karnprayag in Sonali.

Uttarakhand’s Chamoli suffered heavy destruction following a cloud-burst, including four people getting injured. Many domestic animals too lost their lives in the disastrous downpour.

Chamoli, Rudraprayag an Karnprayag may also receive heavy rainfall. In the Kumaon region, Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar and Pithoragarh can get daylong rains.
