Tamil Nadu Leaders Honour Former TN CM Annadurai On His Death Anniversary — IN PICS

Leaders and cadres of Dravidian parties paid respects to CN Annadurai on his 55th death anniversary on Saturday (February 3).

Conjeevaram Natarajan Annadurai, popularly known as Anna and Perarignar (scholar) Anna, served as the Chief Minister of Madras state from 1967 to 1969.

Tamil Nadu CM M K Stalin, away on a Spain trip, who usually leads the peace march paid homage to Annadurai's portrait in the foreign country.

Taking to X, Stalin urged his party to work for a new government at the Centre.

DMK members, led by Duraimurugan, organized a rally from Anna Statue to Anna Square, with MPs, MLAs, and cadres participating, offering floral tributes to their party founder's portrait.

Later, the party’s MLAs and MPs including Udhayanidhi and Kanimozhi paid floral tributes to a decorated portrait of their party founder.

AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami, accompanied by his party leaders and workers, too, paid homage to Annadurai
