After Pak secured a clinical 88-run win over NZ, Babar Azam equaled MS Dhoni's record of 41 wins as captain in T20Is.

Babar Azam attained this feat while playing his 67th match as captain of Pakistan.

Overall, Babar is joint second in the list of captains with maximum victories in T20Is, followed by ex-England captain Eoin Morgan and former Afghanistan captain Asghar Stanikzai.

Both Eoin Morgan and Asghar Stanikzai have won 42 T20Is as captains of their respective national teams. Pakistan's Babar Azam is just one win away from the world record.
