After losing IPL 2023 fixture against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Thursday (May 4), SRH remained at 9th position in 10-team IPL 2023 Points Table.
Notably, Sunrisers Hyderabad are still in contention of qualifying for IPL 2023 Playoffs.
Sunrisers Hyderabad can still reach IPL 2023 Playoffs, for the first time since 2020, if they win all their remaining matches in league stage.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are slated to play 5 matches, against RR on May 7, LSG on May 13, GT on May 15, RCB on May 18 and MI on May 21.
If SRH loses even one out of their five remaining games, their chances of reaching IPL 2023 Playoffs will become very difficult.
But that's not all, apart from winning all their remaining matches in IPL 2023, SRH's qualification chances for IPL 2023 Playoffs will depend on outcome of other matches as well.
SRH will get 16 points if they win all their remaining games but even KKR and bottom-placed DC also still can attain more than 16 points.
