Iyer is among the Indian batsmen to have scored the highest 50+ scores as a non-opener in the IPL since 2018. As an Indian non-opener, Iyer has now scored ten 50+ scores, while Pant now has 11 50+ scores and has now secured top spot in this list. Manish Pandey is second with Iyer, both have scored ten 50+ scores as Indian non-opening batsmen. These two are followed by Sanju Samson and Suresh Raina, who have eight 50+ scores. Rishabh Pant played an important innings of 51 runs off 32 balls with the help of nine fours against Rajasthan Royals at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium and played a key role in powering Delhi to a respectable first innings total.
