Asia Cup 2023: List Of Top Five Run-Scorers In History Of Asia Cup

With just a few days left for the event, here's a look at the top five run-scorers in the history of Asia Cup tournament (ODI format).

Sri Lanka's legendary batter Sanath Jayasuriya tops the list with 1220 runs in 25 ODI matches. He has also played the maximum number of Asia Cup games.

Number two in this elite list is also a Sri Lankan - Kumara Sangakkara - who amassed 1075 runs (four centuries and eight fifties) in 23 innings.

India's Sachin Tendulkar is number three, having scored 971 runs in 23 matches from 1990 to 2012.

One of Pakistan's finest all-rounders Shoaib Malik has so far scored 768 runs in just 17 Asia Cup matches, laced up with three centuries and three fifties.

Team India's senior opener and captain at present, Rohit Sharma, is fifth-highest all-time run-getter in Asia Cup history. He has so far scored 745 runs in 21 innings.
