The highest run-scorer for England against the Aussies, Jason Roy (304 runs) broke into the top-20, gaining three points.
Among bowlers, Moeen Ali moved up 12 positions to be No.13. He bagged 12 wickets in the 5-match ODI rubber against Australia.
Jonny Bairstow turned out to be the second highest run-getter against Australia. He moved up four spots to No.11.
Adil Rashid, who also managed to get wickets against the Aussies, moved up three places to be joint-eight with India's Yuzvendra Chahal.
Only English player who slipped on the list is Joe Root. Managing to score only 104 runs in five innings, Root moved down three places to settle at No.6.
While this massive loss resulted in Australia slipping to the sixth position in the ICC ODI team rankings, the top performers of the English side witnessed personal gains.
England whitewashed the Aussies 5-0 in the ODI series after winning the last match on June 24 in Manchester.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler went up to No 16 after bagging the ‘Man of the Series’ award for a phenomenal performance with the bat. He scored 275 runs in the series.
