The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced a four-member shortlist for the ICC Men's ODI Cricketer of the Year 2023 Award. Only one Non-India player has made it to the list. India's run-machine Virat Kohli is the third cricketer from India to feature in this shortlist. He scored 1377 runs, picked up a wicket and held onto 12 catches in 27 matches in the year. It is a shame that despite three members from Team India in this ICC ODI Men's Cricketer Of The Year 2023 award shortlist India were the runners up at the World Cup 2023, losing to Australia in the final, none of whose players have managed to make the cut.
