The first political survey of 2021 conducted by ABP News along with C-Voter has come showing how efficient, people think, the current Central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in dealing with situations such as Coronavirus pandemic, economic crisis and the ongoing farmers’ protest.   More than 30 thousand people from all 543 Lok Sabha seats of the country participated in this survey. Answers to survey questions were taken in the last 12 weeks. In response, 66 per cent people said that they are happy with the work of the Central Government while 30 per cent people are unhappy. The rest four per cent people said that they cannot say anything in this regard.

Out of the 31 Chief Ministers of the country, who is the best and worst performing Chief Minister? As per the survey predictions, Odisha CM Naveen Pattnaik is the most popular CM in the country followed closely by Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi and Jagan Reddy in Andhra. On the other end of spectrum, the Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat is arguably the least popular CM in India followed closely by Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar and Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh with lowest satisfaction ratings.

How happy are people in NDA-ruled states? In response to this question, people in different states gave different answers. In Assam, 43 per cent of the people were happy with the functioning of the Chief Minister, while 54 per cent preferred the Prime Minister, in Bihar 37 per cent favoured CM and 54 per cent Prime Minister, in Goa, 49 per cent CM and 80 per cent Prime Minister, in Gujarat, 47 per cent CM and 62 per cent Prime Minister.
