The second-longest and second-highest cable car in the world is the Gulmarg Gondola. It transports over 600 people every hour to and from the Apharwat Mountain in two phases. Rogan Josh, Dum Aloo, and Yakhni are the staples and most well-known dishes of Gulmarg's cuisine, just like in most of the districts nearby. A more regional cuisine would include Qabargaah (fried rack of lamb; known as "Tabakh maaz" by Kashmiri Muslims), Modur Pulaav (sweet pulao, typically consumed as dessert), and Muj Gaad (Fish with Raddish). Raazma-Gogji (kidney beans with turnip), Sheer Chai (salted pink tea with almonds), Kehwah (sweet green tea with almonds and cardamom), and Sheekh Kabab (spicy ground lamb on skewers) are further dishes that nearly entirely characterise the cuisine of Gulmarg.
