Actor Raveena Tandon was felicitated with India's fourth highest civilian award, Padma Shri, by President Draupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhawan on Wednesday.

Taking to Instagram, Raveena shared some pictures from the special occasion and wrote in her caption, "A day of love and celebrations. Padma Shri 2023." In the pictures, she can be seen being all smiles as she poses with her family.

Raveena Tandon chose to wear a golden silk saree with a contrasting back blouse with intricate golden embroidery. She completed her look with a sleek bun adorned with gajra, golden jhumkas and bangles, subtle make-up and a black bindi.

Raveena's husband-producer Anil Thadani and son Ranbir Thadani were in black formals. Daughter Rasha Thadani wore a black and white lehenga.

The actress and her family also struck a pose with 'RRR' filmmaker SS Rajamouli, who was also present at the event to cheer for his cousin and Oscar-winning musician MM Keeravani.

Soon after Raveena posted the pictures, fans praised and congratulated the actor and swamped the comment section with heart and fire emojis.

Actor Sonali Bendre and fashion designer Manish Malhotra also dropped heart emojis in the comments section. A comment read, "Finally… big congratulations." Another one read, "Wow wow wow."
