Saiyami Kher retweeted one of her older posts dated back from June 22 where the actress revealed that the first time she met the ‘Ugly’ director, he called her to his Versova house. But before she could day anything, Kashyap claimed that his parents live with him and she does not need to worry.

Kalki Koechlin, the second wife of the ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’ director also extended her support to her ex-husband and said, ‘You have stood up for my integrity even after our divorce, and you have supported me when I felt unsafe in a work environment even before we got together.’
Anurag Kashyap’s first wife Aarti Bajaj came out in support of her ex-husband saying ‘Cheapest stunt I have seen till now’. The ‘jab We Met’ editor further added, ‘You stay HIGH and keep using your voice. We love you.’
‘Shahid’ director Hansal Mehta also came out in support of Anurag Kashyap and penned down a long note for his friend revealing that the latter is like a younger sibling to him. Hansal Mehta further went on to add that the ‘Black Friday’ director can be ‘brash’ and ‘stupid’, but Kashyap being a ‘sexual harasser’ is something he doesn’t want to believe.
Taapsee Pannu was the first celebrity to extend her support to the ‘Manmarziyaan’ director . She tweeted, ‘For you, my friend, are the biggest feminist I know.’
