Actress Deepika Padukone has been hogging all the limelight ever since her name cropped out in the alleged Bollywood drug scandal. A few WhatsApp chats have surfaced during the Narcotics Control Bureau’s investigation in which Deepika and her manager Karishma Prakash allegedly talked about drugs. Deepika Padukone came under the NCB scanner after her WhatsApp chats with her manager Karishma was recovered by the agency during their investigation. The NCB has launched a crackdown against the alleged use of drugs in Bollywood after the drugs angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case came to the fore.

Sidharth Malhotra also attended the party at Koko Club. Talking about Deepika Padukone, the leggy lass is currently busy shooting for her upcoming movie with Shakun Batra. The flick also stars Sidhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday.

The drugs-related conversation between Deepika Padukone and Karishma Tanna dates back to 2017. In the chats, the ‘Padmaavat’ actress allegedly asked for ‘maal’, ‘hash’ from a certain person named ‘K’. Deepika is yet to react to the allegations that have set several tongues wagging.

The NCB issued summons to Deepika’s manager Karishma Prakash and CEO of Kwan Dhruv Chitgopekar for questioning. The agency officials grilled Dhruv in connection with the probe. Karishma has sought exemption from the NCB investigation till September 25 citing ill health, an official told ANI.
