The COVID-19 pandemic severely affected the functioning of the entertainment industry in 2020 as many films couldn't release on their scheduled date. While some makers released their films on leading OTT platforms, YRF decided to opt for a wait and watch approach. Yash Raj, which is one of the leading production houses in Bollywood, has finally revealed the release date of some of its upcoming films. The movie buffs are super excited as some of the most awaited flicks will hit the silver screens in 2021.

Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer 'Sandeep Aur Pink Faraar', which was slated to hit the big screens in March 2020, will finally release next month. The Dibaker Banerjee directorial will entertain the audience from March 19.

Ranveer Singh's 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' will release on August 27, 2021. The social comedy film also stars Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah.

Akshay Kumar's 'Prithviraj', which will mark the Bollywood debut of Manushi Chhillar, will have a Diwali 2021 release as it will hit the silver screens on November 5, 2021. The Chandraprakash Dwivedi directorial also stars Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood in key roles.

'Bunty Aur Babli', which will mark the reunion of Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji will hit the cinema halls on April 23, 2021. The movie also features Siddhant Chaturvedi and debutant Sharvari.

The release date of Karan Malhotra's highly anticipated 'Shamshera' was also announced on Wednesday evening. The film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt will release on June 25, 2021.
