Cannes 2024: Entrepreneur and Shark Tank India judge Namita Thapar walked the red carpet on Cannes Film Festival day 2.

Shark Tank India judge Namita Thapar made her Cannes Film Festival debut and walked the red carpet on day 2.

Namita Thapar attended the premiere of Chris Hemsworth-starrer Furiosa A Mad Max Saga on the second day of Cannes Film Festival.

Namita shared a series of photos from Cannes wearing a mint green gown by Lebanese fashion designer Elio Abou Fayssal.

The gown had a thigh-high slit and a long train.

She tied her hair in a bun and accessorised her look with a diamond necklace and earrings and silver heels.

She also spoke to Brut India before making her red carpet debut. “Look at the vibe, there is fashion, there is movies, there is music. It is just brilliant being here; enjoying it," she said.

About her dress, she said, “I love the colour because it is so different. It is a colour that I have never worn before. I just hope that I can manage this long train, but I am having fun... I pray I don't trip over it (her gown) on the red carpet.”

This year Sobhita Dhulipala and Kiara Adani will also make their Cannes debut.
