Born into the illustrious family of film director Anil Ganguly, Ganguly embarked on her acting journey at a tender age, stepping into the limelight at just seven years old with a role in her father's film 'Saaheb' (1985).

While her initial forays into the industry may not have garnered much acclaim, Ganguly's career saw a significant turning point when she portrayed Dr. Simran Chopra in the medical drama series 'Sanjivani: A Medical Boon' (2003-2005).

The role catapulted Ganguly into the spotlight, earning her recognition and praise for her portrayal. In 2006, she further showcased her versatility by participating in the inaugural season of 'Bigg Boss.'
