Delhi Finance Minister Atishi unveiled the Budget for the financial year 2024-25 in the assembly, with an outlay of ₹76,000 crore on Monday

Delhi Budget 2024 was based on the concept of Ram Rajya and focused on boosting women empowerment, education, healthcare, and infrastructure in the capital.

Delhi FM Atishi launched the 'Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana' on Monday. Women over 18 years of age will receive a monthly allowance of Rs 1,000 under the scheme.

The minister outlined the accomplishments of the AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) government in the education sector and proposed an allocation of Rs 16,396 crore towards it.

The FM announced a budgetary allotment of Rs 118 crore for sports education, Rs 1,212 crore for higher education and technical education, and Rs 15 crore for the program titled "Business Blasters Senior."

Atishi announced an allocation of Rs 664 crore for all nutrition-related schemes.

The minister declared that during FY25, the Delhi govt will start building four court complexes located in Rohini, Karkardooma, Shastri Park, and Rouse Avenue.

The FM allocated Rs 7,195 crore to the Delhi Jal Board, Rs 510 crore for the promotion of electric buses, and Rs 500 crore for the development of Delhi Metro.

The government revealed a healthcare budget of Rs 8,685 crore, allocating Rs 6,215 crore specifically for the enhancement of hospital infrastructure.
