Sachin Tendulkar to Amitabh Bachchan celebs are getting on NFTs Bandwagon

Amitabh Bachchan was one of the first Bollywood actors to launch his NFTs. In November 2021, the Bollywood megastar launched a collection on his father’s iconic ‘Madhushala’ poems, which were recorded in his voice. Big B launched his own collectibles in the form of NFTs on beyondlife.club. The NFTs also included his vintage movie posters which were autographed. [Image Credit: Getty]

In October 2021, Salman Khan partnered with BollyCoin, a Bollywood NFT marketplace, to launch his own collection. There are 200 NFTs belonging to the three films from the Dabangg franchise, out of which 42 are movie scenes. [Image Credit: Getty]

Manish Malhotra launched his fashion-themed NFT collection, which includes five digital designs sketched by the artist. The collectibles went live on the WazirX NFT marketplace. Malhotra sold digital sketches of some of his most famous designs for $4,000 a piece, including a constellation of sketches of Kareena Kapoor Khan which was auctioned for around Rs 2.8 lakhs.
