'The Beast In Matte': Skoda Reveals Images Of Slavia Special Edition

Skoda has revealed the images of Slavia's special edition. You will be able to have this car in Matte Black shade now, however, you will have to pay an additional amount of Rs 40,000 to get this shade

Here is a quick look at what the Matte edition from Skoda is all about for its Slavia sedan. We earlier saw the Kushaq Matte edition while now the Slavia gets it. The Slavia Matte edition is priced at a slight premium from the Style variant which is the top-spec trim. (Image Source: Skoda Auto)

The biggest highlight is the Carbon Steel matte exterior paint shade while some gloss black elements are added to the mirrors and the door handles. Inside, Skoda now provides extra features as also on the Style trim level with the addition of features like powered front seats and footwell illumination. The Slavia Matte edition continues with the current engine line-up which includes a 115hp and 150Nm 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine which comes with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic. (Image Source: Skoda Auto)

There is also the more powerful 1.5 litre turbo petrol unit which develops 150 bhp and 250Nm which comes with a 7-speed DSG automatic and a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Slavia with this special edition is aimed at the festive season and rivals other sedans like the Volkswagen Virtus plus the Hyundai Verna along with the Honda City of course.
