Couple Escorted Off Plane For 'Having Sex In Toilet’ On EasyJet Flight In UK

On a recent easyJet flight, a couple caught in the middle of a sex act in the plane toilet had to be escorted off the plane by police.

A couple were removed by police upon the arrival of their easyJet flight in Ibiza after they were reportedly caught engaging in sexual activity in an onboard lavatory, as per a report by The Independent. The incident unfolded on a flight from Luton airport to the popular Spanish party destination on Friday, as captured in a video shared on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).

In the video footage, a crew member can be seen opening the lavatory door, revealing the partially clothed couple inside. Passengers seated in the rear of the plane reacted with a mixture of applause and cheers, encouraging the crew member to intervene.

Amidst the shouts and laughter of disbelief from fellow passengers, the embarrassed duo hastily closed the lavatory door. Nearby onlookers reacted with shock, some covering their faces, while others questioned whether their friends had managed to capture the sensational moment on camera.

The crew member who exposed the couple appeared unsure of how to handle the situation, standing near the closed door and engaging in a brief conversation with another crew member before the video came to an end.

According to the report, an easyJet spokesperson confirmed that the flight, which occurred on Friday, September 8, garnered police attention upon its arrival in Ibiza due to the behavior of the two passengers involved. However, it remains unclear whether any arrests were made in Ibiza in connection with this incident.

The incident highlights that intentionally engaging in sexual activities in a public lavatory is against the law, as stipulated by Section 71 of the Sexual Offences Act.

This in-flight episode occurred just days after a Delta Airlines flight bound for Spain experienced an unusual diversion due to a passenger suffering from diarrhea, which reportedly affected multiple areas of the plane. The flight, which initially departed from Atlanta, Georgia, on September 1, was forced to return to its origin shortly thereafter due to what was described as a "biohazard issue."

Furthermore, on September 4, a Wizz Air flight traveling from Tel Aviv to London Luton airport was compelled to make an emergency landing in Belgrade due to the erratic behavior of a passenger. According to reports, Victor Troboloni, 45, intervened when the disruptive passenger attempted to open an emergency door and assaulted a male flight attendant. Troboloni placed the unruly passenger in a headlock, with the assistance of crew members, until the situation was under control.
