Bear Breaks Car Window Of Canadian Woman, Guzzles 69 Cans Of Soda
The bear consumed 69 of the 72 soda cans kept inside the car, starting with orange soda before making its way through cola and root beer
A woman on British Columbia's Sunshine Coast woke up in the night to find a bear had broken into her car and crushed dozens of cans of soda she had left there overnight. The woman, Sharon Rosel was woken up by her pet dogs' constant barking at 3 am on Thursday and looked outside her window to see that the door of her car was open and a bear was looking for something to drink and eat.
"He was drinking massive amounts of soda," said Rosel to CBC News.
For almost half an hour the bear drank cans of soda making a sweet mess of the car's interior, while Rosel watched from her balcony in amusement.
According to Rosel, the bear consumed 69 of the 72 soda cans kept inside the car, starting with orange soda before making its way through cola and root beer and only stopped when it reached the diet soda, reported the media outlet.

In order to scare the bear away, Rosel tried to throw cold water on it from her balcony but the attempt did not yield result. Then she tried to reason with the bear saying that she needed the car to go to work the next morning, but that too did not help and she watched the bear guzzle the cans as a mute spectator.
"Then I tried psyching him out by telling him I was a bear hunter. That didn't do anything either, so I had to stand by and just watch him devour my car," said Rosel to CBC News.
Rosel captured images of the bear invasion during the night as well as its aftermath the next morning, when many emptied cans were left next to the car.
