US Polls 2020: Trump Accuses Biden Of 'Stealing The Election', Hits Integrity Of Results With Unsupported Complaints
Donald Trump accused the Democrats of corruption and cheating on Election results without evidence.
“This is a case when they are trying to steal an election, they are trying to rig an election,” said Trump of Democrats, whom he accused of corruption while providing no evidence.
He made similar claims about election integrity during the 2016 campaign, which he went on to win. This time, he was speaking not as a candidate, but as the sitting president of the United States. The President with no evidence accused that the mail-in ballots are a way to cheat in the election.
Even Twitter reacted and flagged US President Donald Trump’s tweet alleging the stealing of votes by the Democrats. Trump had tweeted, “We are up BIG, but they are trying to STEAL the election. We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the Polls are closed!”
After which President mocked Twitter by saying the social media platform is out of control.
Trump's lawsuit rejected in Georgia and Michigan While Trump announced to take legal actions to make the counting stop accusing of cheating There were no obvious grounds for the Justice Department to attempt to intervene to stop a vote count at the state level, unless the federal government could somehow assert a violation of federal voting laws or the Constitution. The department could theoretically file a brief in support of a Trump campaign lawsuit if it believed there were federal concerns at stake, but that intervention would be extraordinary. Trump took the fraud claims to court – but most of the lawsuits only demand better access for campaign observers to locations where ballots are being processed and counted. A judge in Georgia dismissed the campaign’s suit there less than 12 hours after it was filed. And a Michigan judge dismissed a Trump lawsuit over whether enough GOP challengers had access to the handling of absentee ballots. While the race for victory is still on, Joe Biden has the edge as most of the states have turned blue.
