'I WON THE ELECTION, GOT 71,000,000 LEGAL VOTES' Trump Continues To Attack Mail-In Ballots After Loss To Joe Biden

Even before the final result of Biden winning as per the electoral vote came in, Donald Trump had tweeted "I WON THIS ELECTION, BY A LOT!"

Washington DC: The 45th President of the United States Donald Trump has clearly not taken his defeat well as he continues to spread doubts over the mail-in ballots that as expected have worked in favour of Democratic presidential nominee who is now the 46th US president Joe Biden. ALSO READ | 'Will Restore The Soul Of America', President-Elect Joe Biden In His Victory Speech, Kamala Harris Declares 'We Did It' Donald Trump launched a series of attacks alleging voter fraud as he wrote, "THE OBSERVERS WERE NOT ALLOWED INTO THE COUNTING ROOMS. I WON THE ELECTION, GOT 71,000,000 LEGAL VOTES. BAD THINGS HAPPENED WHICH OUR OBSERVERS WERE NOT ALLOWED TO SEE. NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. MILLIONS OF MAIL-IN BALLOTS WERE SENT TO PEOPLE WHO NEVER ASKED FOR THEM!" Even before the final result of Biden winning as per the electoral vote came in, Trump had tweeted "I WON THIS ELECTION, BY A LOT!" "We have gotten over 74 million votes. That’s more than any presidential ticket has ever got in the history of the United States of America and our vote total is still growing. We are beating Donald Trump by over 4 million votes. That’s a margin still growing as well," Joe Biden had said in his address late Friday. In his most recent tweet, Donald Trump has also tried to counter the reports of Joe Biden getting the most votes ever. What is notable in this scenario is that after decades a president has lost his re-election attempt in America as Trump has followed George Bush Senior (who lost in 1993) in losing his second bid at the presidency towards the end of the first term. As reactions over the US Election 2020 results continue to pour in, the concerns now are around Donald Trump seeking legal course for challenging the vote count in states he lost ground in, if at all that can help him in any way and last;y, under what circumstances will the now-former president concede.
